PRACTICE WITH ME

I am teaching privately on the Westside of LA in-person and on Zoom. Once in a while I teach at Yogaworks in Santa Monica, LA, please follow me on Instagram at @juliaspathyoga to stay tuned for public classes.

60-minute privates integrate alignment, breath, and use focus/imagination to transform the body and consciousness one session at a time. Yoga gives strength and stability to the body, and provides tremendous anti-stress benefits.

I work with injuries, conditions, and Yoga experience to tailor a practice that is right for you. My classes are never the same, drawing on the wisdom from the many rich lineages of Yoga asana including vinyasa, kundalini, therapeutics, restorative, and pre-natal.

ABOUT ME

Thank you for being here and walking with me on the path of self-inquiry: cultivating an optimal life and realizing our fullest potential. I am so excited to connect to you, and to continue to grow as a student and as a teacher.

I am a passionate about the power of Yoga. Its impacted and transformed my life over and over again from a teen in NYC, to an artist in LA, and as a mom.

I took my first class at 14, a dazed teenager in New York City embarking performing arts school. Yoga awoke in me all of my deepest potential. From the very first class, Yoga became a constant relationship in my life, and I am proud to say has been a long lasting love affair. I studied theater and then at 18 years old trained in the Yogaworks method, taking my 200 hr training with Jenny Aurthur before attending Barnard and working in the film industry for the next five years. After graduating I moved to LA where I completed my 300 hr training with Joan Hyman also at Yogaworks in LA. Since 2014 I worked for Yogaworks LA as an instructor then teacher manager before COVID.

The irrefutable positive effect of Yoga on my system and my path has been a game changer, a life saver, and no doubt a guiding light in all the chapters leading me up until today.

I have studied ongoingly with Mark Whitwell, Maty Ezraty, Annie Carpenter, and Carrie Owerko.
